Good people in Nong Bua Lamphu found tens of thousands of baht and returned it to the owner.

Nong Bua Lamphu, Social media praises a kind-hearted Nong Bua Lamphu rider who found a wallet with almost 30,000 baht and posted to find the owner to return it to him, saying that he would feel uncomfortable keeping it because it was not his money. Similarly, an English teacher who returned 70,000 baht to its owner is a good example that deserves praise.

Ms. Nam-oi Suriwong, an officer of the Hat Sawan Community Financial Institution Fund, Nong Bua Lamphu Municipality, who owns the wallet, said that on the day of the incident, she had finished selling and had not yet deposited the cash because it was a compensatory holiday. She then drove to fill up the tank with gas. After paying, she placed the wallet on the rack of her motorcycle and rode to buy coffee. When she reached out to grab the wallet, she found that the wallet was gone. She drove the same way she had driven, circling it several times but still could not find it. She was discouraged and returned home. At that time, she had accepted it and thought
that she would never get it back. Later, her nephew called to tell her that a food delivery rider had posted looking for the owner of the pink wallet and included a phone number for her to contact. She immediately called the good Samaritan rider, Mr. Surachet, 46 years old. At that time, she was both happy and shocked. She did not think that someone would find the wallet and return it. She therefore thanked the kind-hearted rider for his kindness.

Asked Mr. Surachet, a kind-hearted rider, he said that while riding his motorcycle home, he arrived at the Limchai Uthit roundabout and found a pink bag in the middle of the road. So he turned his motorcycle around to pick it up. When he opened the bag, he saw tens of thousands of baht and various cards. So he tried posting on Facebook to find the owner because he felt uneasy keeping it. Then about 2 hours later, the owner of the bag called, so he took it back to return it.

Another commendable example: A teacher at Phubodin Kindergarten School in Mueang Nong Bua L
amphu District collected 70,000 baht and returned a mobile phone to its owner.

Phubodin Kindergarten School, Mueang Nong Bua Lamphu District, Nong Bua Lamphu Province, teachers and students are performing a ceremony to present certificates of honor to good people of Phubodin along with a bouquet of flowers to Ms. Waraporn Chitpakdee or Teacher BB to honor her good deeds and be an example for children after Teacher BB found a wallet and returned it to its owner. Inside the wallet were 70,000 baht and 2 mobile phones.

Teacher BB, a foreign language teacher, said that yesterday she was driving before reaching school and saw a bag dropped in the middle of an intersection, so she stopped her car and went out to pick it up. She saw that there was a lot of money in it. At first, she thought she would post it on Facebook, but when she saw the amount of money, she didn’t dare post it. So she tried searching the phone number until she was able to contact the owner. Mother Boonpeng Phadatsri, the owner of the bag, adm
itted that she had given up, thinking she wouldn’t get her money back. But when Teacher BB contacted her, she felt happy and praised Teacher BB for being a really good person.
